Day 28: Catch

I already blogged about t-ball this month, so I can't necessarily use that one again for 'catch', so we'll go with fishing.  Austin has become quite the little fisherman at our local pond here in the neighborhood.  He frequently ventures up there with Daddy, Uncle LoLo, or Uncle Cuz.  He doesn't get to fish with an actual hook on his Toy Story fishing pole, but he has been brave enough to actually touch a fish that someone else caught.  Soon enough, Chase will be big enough to accompany them up there, too!

Fishing with LoLo

Hey, when you gotta go, you gotta go!

Wanted to be one of the 'big boys' and take his shirt off!

Sometimes I think he just likes to go to the pond because we pack a cooler with snacks and a juice box!

Day 27: Silly Face

This kid never fails with the silly faces! Especially when it comes to sunglasses. (Okay, maybe not so much 'silly', but definitely cute!)

Day 26: Payback

I decided to take this topic literally, and split it into two words. Pay back.  :)

This week officially ends my 'part-time' status at the firm.  It's been nearly three years since I have collected a full paycheck.  I felt a little forced to go part-time after I had Austin; it was basically the only way I could keep my sanity and get a little bit of a reprieve from a crazy hectic schedule at my job.  There were many times that I worked more than my respective % and didn't get paid for it.  But there's nothing I can do about that now, but get over it. So here I am now, in my new gig, which seems to be going okay for the most part. And next week I will officially be considered 'full-time' again.  Since I came into this new role two months ago, I decided to stay part-time a little longer, to ease myself into everything and figure out what the heck I was doing. And I was able to have Friday's off.  Every single one, which was fantastic. And unlike before, I now got to put an out-of-office reply on my email and actually not be expected to respond and enjoy my time off. What a concept! It was kinda surreal.  I have loved my Fridays; now they're gone. But it's time to put my big girl panties on and get back to it!

But I will definitely be getting my pay back from KPMG. Let's just say that it's a substantial amount of extra money that will make our lives easier. And Jordan has plans for it.......involving fixing up Ol' Red. I have other plans for it......a new Tahoe for me. And Hawaii next summer. :)

Day 25: Mantra

I really had to think long and hard about this one. Then it finally came to me.  I can remember many years ago when I was in high school, a great teacher and mentor wrote this down for me on a post-it. I carried it in my Five Star notebook daily. :) And I still repeat it to myself......alot, nearly on a daily basis. It just seems so simple, yet so complicated.

Day 24: Favorite Photo of All Time

Seriously?! What kind of topic is that? That's basically asking me to choose between my two kids. (Or my husband for that matter.) So, I've narrowed it to a couple instead.

This was on Chase's birth day, when Austin first met him. It melted my heart to see him eager to help take care of his lil bro. This pic also reminds me of the day our family became complete, with all three of my boys!

This is one of MANY pics of these two boys in bed together. These two are inseparable, especially now that they're older.  Austin loves to show Chase the ropes, and Chase looks up to his bubba so much already.

And I had to throw this one in here for fun. This was taken on our 5-year anniversary cruise. I was pregnant with Austin at the time, sick in our room, and Jordan ventured out on the boat by himself. After a few beverages, he posed for this pic. It just reminds me of the badass that I married. :)

Day 23: Addiction

I seem to have alot of addictions these days. (All completely legal, of course.) I gave up one addiction a few months ago when I was dieting and working out.  Now, not so much, and I've fallen off the wagon.  Hard. I swear, if there wasn't a Sonic right by the boys' daycare, I wouldn't be so dang tempted.  But yes, it never fails, almost everyday, I succumb to the Cherry-Vanilla-Diet Dr. Pepper.  It just seems to put a smile on my face.  And a bottle of water doesn't do much to curb my craving.  And damn you happy hour, when they're half off!!

Day 22: Goal

When I think of 'goal', I naturally think of sports. (I know; this post should have been about setting a goal/achieving one. Unfortunately, I've fallen off the eating healthy/working out bandwagon, so let's leave that goal alone for now!)

We signed Austin up for t-ball back in May.  Needless to say, those games were fun, yet chaotic.  It was so exciting to see all the boys out there, but they wouldn't stay interested enough after 'practice' for a full game. Throw in having to keep tabs on Chase as well, and Momma seriously needed a glass of wine on game nights! Anyways, we survived the season, got our medal and a pizza party at CiCi's Pizza, complete with cupcakes. He'll definitely be playing next year, but I think we've learned that Chase won't be playing until he's a little older than Austin is. :)

Time for medals! :)

Cupcakes after pizza!

When did this kid grow up?!!?

How cute is this team?!

Day 21: Recipe

Day 21 was yesterday, in which I actually made something.  Jordan had to be at work bright and early (6:30am, after our night out at the concert!) for the big iPhone 5 launch.  Boooooo! There were already people in line at 11pm the night before outside his store........losers! Anyways, I made a double batch of sausage balls for breakfast, and then also through together some peanut butter chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon and brought them up there. I know; best wife ever! :)

Sausage balls are pretty simple.  Jordan's mom had been making these for years for him, so it's one of his favorites.

  • 1 lb. of sausage (pork or turkey)
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • Mix everything together; shape into 1-2in. balls; place on baking sheet; cook at 425 degrees for 12min.  And wooolah!
My go to recipe for peanut butter cookies is from here. I use the basic recipe and change up the fun stuff (i.e. Reese's pieces) sometimes with peanut butter chips, chocolate chips, or both! Deliciousness!!!

Day 20: Hot

Catching up here again, after a few days away from the blog. :)  On day 20, I had a really good day.  First off, I was off from work. Second, we scored tickets to the Kip Moore/Eric Church concert and I was so excited!  Of course, it's no secret that I think that Kip Moore is HOT.  Between the music and the looks, I'm like a crazed teenage girl when it comes to him.  Jordan has already accepted my obsession with Kip, so he was prepared for me to drool over him as he serenaded me at the concert. :)

Jordan and I had such a good time.  A friend from work and her husband actually had tickets to the concert as well, so we all met for dinner beforehand.  I bought our tickets at the last minute, but ended up getting general admission/standing tickets down in front. I was nervous about being down in the 'pit', but it was actually pretty cool to be so close. I really just wanted to reach out and touch him!!!  Overall, it was a great night and so glad we were able to get out of the house for a few hours. Big thanks to Uncle LoLo for picking up the boys from daycare, feeding them, and putting them to bed for us.  He's definitely the best! :)

Chilling in some seats in between sets

Love him!

After standing in line for 20 min. and having three beers spilled on my jeans and boots, I walked away with a shirt! If only I could have tracked Kip down for a dang signature!

We were soooooo close!!

Eric Church was incredible, too!!

Day 19: Falling

When I think of 'Falling' I usually think of my kids falling down.  They're some clumsy little guys for sure.  Chase already has a chipped front tooth. And Austin sees to have nearly knocked one of his front ones out a number of times.  They definitely wiggle a little too much for my liking, and the dentist said he's likely to lose them sooner rather than later.  So, here's picture of my big boy at the dentist after one of his recent falls.  (Don't have a picture of Chase Chase since I had to hold him!)   They were both so brave!

Day 18: 1PM

Woopsie, looks like I've fallen behind a few days, so I'll make this quick.  1PM. When I think of 1PM, I think of how I've usually just returned back to my comfy ergonomic chair at my desk at work.  Well, that is unless I've taken an extended lunch at LaMadeleine for a long chat about the recent bad boys we've been reading about in our bookclub. Oh, those are fun lunches. :)

When I'm at home on the weekends, 1PM usually means quiet time. Chase is always sleeping at 1PM, and Austin and I will usually take advantage of that time to bake something or curl up in Mommy's bed to watch a movie.  Unless, I'm extremely lucky and this kid also takes a nap.  In that case, I try to catch some shut-eye too. :)

Day 17: Extraordinary

As I've been making my way through this whole 'Blog-a-day' challenge, it's been fun to try to decide what to write about for each topic.  Last week when I was blogging, Jordan asked when I was going to blog about him (cocky much?!).  I went and spouted off a few topics that I could use him as my subject. . . . . . . . . . .Tiny, 2 More Minutes, Size, Silly Face.  I giggled as I told him all the things I could talk about. But he didn't find it amusing. :) So, I thought I would cut him some slack and do a sweet one.  And wouldn't you know, today's topic was Extraordinary.  So let's go with that one.

There's no doubt, that I find our relationship, the journey getting here, overcoming obstacles over the years, and the man that he is today, extraordinary.  When we first met in the Spring of 2002 in college, neither one of us were looking to get into a relationship. I'd consider us both 'damaged goods' at that point in our lives. I was recovering from the downfall of a very unhealthy relationship and trying to make my way through college while juggling so much.  He was a little screwed up from his ex messing with his head, and let's be honest, he didn't have a job when we met and he rarely went to class. Boy, weren't we a match. :)  But somehow, that handsome fellow found his way into my heart (and maybe my pants) rather quickly. I knew after our first date that he was the one I would marry. That's some crazy sh*t right there.  It was a whirlwind romance (filled with heated fights and make-up sessions), but he got down on one knee on the beach and put a ring on it 8 months later.

Over the years we've weathered many storms with our extraordinary love carrying us through. Shoot, we've been together nearly 11 years now and still manage to put up with each other.  One of the most extraordinary things he ever gave me was our two sons.  Yep, I'd say he had a pretty big part in creating those two.  I will forever be grateful for the kind of extraordinary father that he has turned out to be. (Not that I ever doubted him.) And his extraordinary love for me is the greatest, and I like to think that I return it in the same amount.

I always tell him that when it's our time to leave this earth, it better be together. For some reason, I envision us as Noah and Allie from The Notebook holding each other as we take our last breaths. It just doesn't even seem possible that I would be able to survive if he were to leave before me. Literally, I wouldn't be able to breathe. I truly believe that you only have a 'once-in-a-lifetime-love' and ours is extraordinary.

Day 16: Challenge

Wow, I'm barely getting today's post in before the day is over.  What can I say, it was one of those lazy Sundays.  Between the constant drizzle/rain outside and having our bellies full from a Mexican feast for family day, we laid around quite a bit today.

There's no doubt that having children is a challenge. But I like a good challenge. One of our recent challenges we're working on is teaching Austin to ride a bike.  He got his Cars bike from Meow Meow and LoLo for his birthday last year. But that was also the same birthday that he got his Hot Wheels Jeep from Mommy & Daddy, so their gift was a little overshadowed. :) But every kid needs to learn to ride a bike, so we're trying to focus on it more these days. It seems so easy, riding a bike.  But teaching someone to do it, a kid that gets frustrated after 2.5 seconds when he starts pedaling backwards, a little frustrating.  Needless to say, it's a work in progress. :)

Day 15: Black and White

I couldn't really come up with anything for today's topic, other than black-and-white photos.  Something about them that I love.  It seems like every picture looks 10 times better when it's converted to black-and-white. So that's what I did. :)

Here's a pic of Austin when Jordan and I took him to a Rangers game for my company's family day. (No, Chase sat that one out at MawMaw & PawPaw's house.)  He looks so grown up in this picture!

And here's my Chase Chase!  This kid went through a stage a few months ago where he screamed during bath time, but after switching back to the big tub in Mommy & Daddy's room, he LOVES bath time again!

Day 14: Verse

I don't know if today's topic was supposed to be a Bible verse, but I'm going to go a slightly different route......song verse.  Since I switched over to the glorious iPhone world earlier this year, I've been downloading a lot of music to it.  And I've also become quite a fan of Kip Moore, as I've previously discussed on here before.  In fact, we're going to see him in concert this next week, so excited! Anyways, I pretty much love every song on his album, but there's one that is my favorite, Faith When I Fall.  One of my favorite verses (actually it may technically be the chorus, but whatever!) goes like this......

Give me love when I ain't got nobody
A little hope when I ain't got none at all
Give me light up ahead on a journey
Give me strength when I'm standing
And faith when I fall

Something about those words just speak to me all the time.

Day 13: Size

Size. When people see my boys, they usually mention their size. (Well, Austin's actually slimmed down now.)    They may be short, but they're stocky. :)  I haven't done much of an update on Chase's stats in a while, and the last one I have is from his 18-month checkup. He weighed in at 29lbs. 6oz. (75th percentile); Austin was 27lbs. 4oz. at this milestone.  Chase has quickly caught up to his big brother's stats, even though he was born a whole 2lbs. lighter at birth. He wasted no time trying to one up his big bro!  And I can't get enough of my Chase Chase and his sweet cheeks, cankles, and chubby feet!

Here's a comparison of my boys at 18 months old.  See, size does matter. :) But I'm sure once they get into their teenage years and get to their max height of around 5'7", they won't be so eager to discuss size then. Let's just hope that their personality can overcompensate for their destined-short stature.

Day 12: 2 More Minutes

Well, the day's nearly over and I'm just now blogging, so clearly today is a day where I need 2 more minutes!

I'm not a morning person, at all, so when my alarm starts going off bright and early (actually it may even still be dark), needless to say, I usually hit the snooze a few times. After that gets old, I just turn it off.  When Jordan starts asking if I'm going to get up, I ask for 5 more minutes. (Clearly, this blog should have been titled such!).  And my boys are no different; they looooove to sleep almost as much as I do.

It seems like I'd like '2 more minutes' alot.  2 more minutes of sleep before dragging my butt out of bed and heading to work. 2 more minutes with my boys before heading work. 2 more minutes during days like today when it seems like I have a million things to get done at work but don't get to cross any off my list.  2 more minutes of fun girl talk at lunch. 2 more minutes of snuggle time with my love.

Bottom line, there just aren't enough hours (or minutes) in the day to do all that I want to do.  But I try to make the most of it!

Tuesday, September 11, 2012

Day 11: Tiny

Oh man. I had joked all week about what I would post about today's topic, but I decided to go with something much sweeter. (Although a fellow blogger basically stole my idea, and a picture! But I laughed my butt off when I pulled up her blog today!)

Anyways, when I think of tiny, I usually think of babies, particularly my babies.  But they're not really babies anymore. Austin is nearly 4 now and Chase is 20 months. Where did the time go? They started out as a tiny little blurb on the u/s with a beautiful heartbeat.  Months later, I saw their tiny little hands and feet for the first time and fell in love.  Now that they're getting bigger, there's nothing really tiny about them anymore. To commemorate them and keep them with me all the time, Jordan bought me a tiny little charm for a necklace after they were each born with their names on it. I wear it everyday, and can probably count on one hand the number of times I've ever taken it off.

Day 10: Oops!

I was previously at a loss of what to blog about for today's topic.  But this morning, it quickly came to me......

Oops! Chase has pink-eye! Grrrrrrrrr. We've had a nice long streak lately of no doctor visits, but that changed today.  Yesterday, his eyes started watering alot, oozing some nasty stuff, and one was nearly swollen shut when he got up from nap.  Jordan took him to the doctor this morning, who confirmed my mommy-diagnosis.  Daddy stayed home with him for the morning shift while I went into the office for a few hours, and then I came home after lunch to relieve him so he could get into work for a few hours.  Other than having pink-eye, this kid is acting as happy as ever!

I won't lie, it's always nice to have some one-on-one time with one of the kids.  But as I'm trying to type emails for work and he keeps banging on my laptop, it gets a little frustrating. Although, he did go off and play long enough for me to type this quick blog, so I can't complain. :)

Day 9: Younger You

Oh, a younger me. I'm 30 now, so there are plenty of pictures of a younger version of me. Of course, back then, we weren't blessed with digital pictures that were so easily stored and accessible on a computer.   Here's one of the first pictures that I came across and it's actually a pretty good one.  I've noticed in a lot of my baby and toddler pictures, I'm constantly sans clothes, so I was happy to find one without my bum showing. :) I had such long hair back then, constantly in pig tails or a pony tail.  But I cringe at the pics in the later years where I went through a perm phase, so I spared you from those awkward years.  Needless to say, I was a cute little kid!

Day 8: Flirt

Oh man. When I think of flirt, I automatically envision three faces: Jordan, Jordan Jr., and Jordan III. These three boys are a bunch of little flirts and can melt my heart in an instant.

With his blue eyes, I can never say no to this little Teddy Bear, Chase.

And Austin has definitely inherited his Daddy's charm and can pretty much talk me into anything.

And finally Jordan, he's a shameless flirt (with me only, of course!) A few weeks ago, we went shopping for a couple new suits for his manager training. I thought he looked pretty dapper, enough to meet him for lunch one day while he was at training a few blocks away from me downtown.  He even flirted and showed me his hotel suite. (wink, wink!)

Day 7: Sign

I debated on which way to interpret today's topic.  There weren't really any physical 'signs' with words that I wanted to take a picture of and write about.  So once again, I was perusing through recent pics on my iPhone and memories came back to me.

Back in July, for Jordan's birthday, we ventured outside of our usual box and decided to try our hand at indoor rock climbing. I had bought a Living Social deal for a place a few months back and thought this may be a great day to try something new.  I had envisioned a regular indoor rock climbing place, like I had experienced once when I was a teenager. Instead, we found ourselves at an actual indoor training facility for rock climbing outdoors. These people were serious about rock climbing and took all sorts of adventurous field trips all the time.  After taking a look around, it was a clear sign that we were in a bit over our heads. But we powered through it. After going through some demonstrations and practicing on some easy walls, we were set loose to wander around to the 90ft silos to basically a straight up vertical climb.  Gulp!!  I'm not that big of a fan of heights. Call me crazy, but falling 15-20ft onto concrete when I was 6 and fracturing my skull will make you think twice before climbing something so high. But hey, we were attached to these ropes, and I knew I could count on the hubby to follow the safety procedures to make sure I didn't plummet to my death.  It was scary, exhausting, and yet exhilarating.  I think Jordan panicked a few times when it was time for him to descend back down the wall, and when he let go, my feet were lifted off the ground leaving me dangling (good thing I was tethered to the floor!) holding his ropes. :) It didn't take long before we were both drenched in sweat and called it a day.  After a day at this place, it was clearly a sign that we were out of shape and needed to work on some things before we came back for more.  But it was a great experience, and it was actually pretty fun!

After getting cleaned up and grabbing some hibachi dinner, we ventured up to a local patio to sit outside and enjoy some ice cold beers.  It was clearly a sign that we belonged there! :)

Day 6: Scoop

Obviously, when I think about 'Scoop', I think about ice cream.  These boys love ice cream, and we try to partake in some whenever we can, especially since it's scorching outside.  The other night, Daddy stopped on his way home from work to grab Wendy's for dinner. (Yes, I know I'm currently in an 8-week weight loss challenge, but give me a break!)  It never fails, every time we go there, Jordan insists on getting a frosty.  After we ate, Jordan sat on the couch, ready to enjoy his sweet treat, only to be bombarded by two little boys.  Needless to say, with the three of them scooping up the frosty, it was gone in no time. (And I want the record to reflect that I only had two bites!)

Day 5: Guilty Pleasure

I have quite a few guilty pleasures these days. Just to list a few:
  • My favorite $8 bottle of wine, Pink Polka Dot
  • Peanut butter M&M's, or anything peanut butter for that matter
  • Sleeping in, especially when I have kids that also love to sleep til 9:30 or so on the weekends
  • Reality tv, such as Bachelor Pad currently
The list can go on and on.  But there's one that has been keeping me pretty busy lately....my new-found passion for reading.  Let's just say that the family iPad has unofficially become mine.  While I also use it to write blogs, browse Facebook or Pinterest, play games like Words with Friends, my favorite is the Kindle app.  Who knew one little app could spark a love for reading again.  I used to read all the time (and not just my weekly People magazine!), but then I got busy with work, raising two kids, and trying to keep my husband happy.  Well, sometime in the past six months, I decided to start being a little selfish and make time for me to read again. And boy, have I!  (Don't worry, I still have a job, the kids are alive, and the hubby has a constant smile on his face.)  These days, I would much rather curl up with the iPad on the couch to read, rather than watching tv.  It's relaxing, I enjoy it. In fact, I think I read every night before drifting off to sleep. This has also resulted in me having purchased waaaaay too many books on Amazon.  Needless to say, I feel like I'm paying someone's salary over at Amazon.

With my love for reading, I've also somehow created to JHo Book Club, with a few followers wanting to constantly know what they should read next. I like to think that I find some fantastic reads, and can't wait to share my unofficial book review with them.  The members and I are constantly sharing texts about little what we're currently reading, having inappropriate conversations about books over lunch, and even reading hilarious excerpts aloud while in the car on the way to Canton! This past week I even put all of my books in fancy little spreadsheet with ratings and everything.  After putting the list together (in Excel, of course!) I noticed how extensive it was, and I couldn't believe how many I had read! Anyways, I have the list, in case you want any recommendations; I currently have a few open spot's for Book Club members. :) I'd say that almost every single one of them has some sort of romance element to them; hey, I'm a girl!  Some of them have more conflict and angst than others, but I definitely have read some awesome ones.  And I won't lie and try to say that some of them aren't a little......ahem, risque.  But I'll leave those off my blog; well, except for Fifty Shades because that's a given!  I'll list my top 10 here for you, and not necessarily in order. :)
  • Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, by EL James (book #2 was my fav!)
  • Thoughtless Series, by S.C. Stephens (Oooh, Kellan Kyle gets me excited! And patiently awaiting the final book Reckless in the Spring!)
  • The Breathing Series, by Rebecca Donovan (this one was so intense! anxiously awaiting the 3rd book!)
  • Avoiding Commitment, by K.A. Linde (I was literally yelling at this book, and can't wait for Avoiding Responsibility!)
  • Beautiful Disaster, by Jamie McGuire (incredible, and it's being made into a movie, too!)
  • The Mighty Storm, by Samantha Towle (who doesn't love a hot rock star?!)
  • Love Unscripted, by Tina Reber (it was a long one, but worth every bit of the 659 pages!; ready for Love Unrehearsed due out next week!)
  • Broken Fairytales & Buried Castles, both by Monica Alexander
  • Crash/Clash, by Nicole Williams (who wouldn't love a badboy named Jude Ryder?!)
  • While It Lasts, by Abbi Glines (I think I cried in the first 5 pages!)
Geez, it's hard to put together a top 10, and even at that, I combined some into trilogies. :) Sneaky, I know. And as you can see by my notes, I get lost in the books and can't wait til the next one.  It has definitely been my guilty pleasure!

Day 4: Summer Loving

Oh, summertime! It's my favorite time of year! Maybe it's a sign that my birthday happens to fall on the first official day of summer. :)  We try to spend as much time as possibly outside, but that can get difficult with the blazing Texas heat. But we did manage to skip off to the pool this past weekend to cool off, and spend some time hanging out in the driveway. And there's no doubt, these boys love to play outside as much as they can!

Day 3: Labor

I know today's Labor Day, and that's what inspired today's topic. But when I think of 'Labor', I think of having a baby.  Well, we all know that I didn't have to endure the traditional labor, including having my water break, hours of painful contractions, or having to push a baby out of my hooh-ha.  I guess that's the luxury of having your stomach sliced open with scheduled c-sections........twice.  And I don't feel like I got cheated at all by not having a traditional birthing experience.  The first one with Austin, I was definitely pretty out of it and looked like poo, and definitely was not ready for photo ops afterwards. I'll attribute that to the extreme nausea and vomiting that occurred as soon as they gave me the spinal and laid me down on the operating table.  Yeah, good times.  When it came time for Chase's big day, we already knew how I would react to the spinal, so I was given some anti-nausea drugs in my IV ahead of time.  Amaaaaaazing. Notice how happy I look in the picture. :)  And, maybe the fact that I knew I would never be tormented by months and months of constant sickness being pregnant ever again.  Ahhhh, bittersweet, I guess.
Austin's arrival

Chase's arrival

Day 2: Fear

Fear.  Well, I have alot of them.  But as I scrolled through pictures on my iPhone today to conjure up some idea on what to blog today, I giggled at couple of them.  Because my boys apparently have NO FEAR! They are definitely rough-and-tumble adventurous boys.  Austin is a complete maniac while driving his Jeep around everywhere, but we've even allowed him to drive Chase around in it while in the high gear. It's scary as hell to watch them on it, but they have a blast.   While it's cute, I fear the day that these boys will be behind the wheel of an actual car!  Will they really give Austin a license in twelve years?!  That just doesn't seem possible.

And Chase is like a little monkey.  He will use any piece of furniture or toy as a step stool to get to where he wants to go. I am constantly finding him sitting or standing on chairs or the table in the playroom!  These boys are definitely keeping me on my toes!

Day 1: Before

I've been debating the past few days about what I wanted to blog about for this topic. Finally, I decided that I needed to do something about the big wedding, since I haven't yet.  We're still holding out for pictures from the photographer (hopefully very soon), but Katrina did manage to finagle one picture out of him last week to put in her classroom. So, this is all I got. :)

Before this day (7/7/12), my sister was a single woman. Before this day, we were up all night drinking way too much alcohol. Before we loaded up into the party bus, I helped my sister into the most beautiful wedding gown and placed a veil on her head.  Before we walked into the chapel, we tried to forget about the rain pouring outside and gusty winds that took us all by surprise.  Before I walked down the aisle, I tried to console my little ring bearers who were having a complete meltdown.  Before Katrina walked down the aisle, I took one look at Logan across the altar and saw that look in his eyes.  I've never doubted his love for her, and I know that he will make her the happiest girl alive for the rest of her life.  Before this day, she was a Harvey girl, but now she's Mrs. Harrington! :)
