Happy 3rd Birthday Chase Cooper!

Three years ago, a tiny little baby graced us with his presence. (Okay, not all that tiny at 6lbs. 4oz., but compared to his brother's 8lbs. 3oz., he was tiny.) He came into the world a little over three weeks early in a planned c-section, thanks to my pregnancy complications. As Jordan and I held him for the first time, it was a surreal moment. At 28, our family was now complete. A mother of two boys. Wow; was I in for a wild ride over the next 18 years! But I'll be honest, I enjoy being a mother to boys!

And here we are. This boy is 3 years old now! He's my little love bug. A momma's boy 100%. Passionate, sensitive, a cuddler, melt-your-heart-blue eyes, and sweet as can be. He loves sleep just as much as I do, able to sleep in til 9 or 10am on the weekends. And he is in awe of his big brother. They're finally at an age where they play soooo well together. Sometimes they just wander off into the playroom or one of their rooms together and it's so heartwarming to watch. Chase wants to do EVERYTHING bubba does. Their giggles together, chases throughout the house, or jumping on the beds. They're quite a pair. He truly is the sweetest. He's been a pretty quiet kid up until recently. Seems like he's just starting to come out of his shell, talking a mile a minute, being more adventurous (FINALLY realizing the awesomeness of bounce houses), not clinging to my hip when we go out somewhere. But he's going to be a heartbreaker, I just know it. He can ask me for almost anything, and I can't so no when he flashes me those baby blues.
This kid recently from absolutely hating bath time, refusing to sit down and screaming the entire time, to being a little fishy not wanting to get out. Makes for a MUCH more enjoyable experience for all of us!
One of my favorite pictures of all time of these two little rascals! When Austin does something, Chase is close to follow. (Jordan suggested I get a picture of all THREE of them peeing off the back porch. I politely declined!
