Okay, yes, Chase's birthday was January 7th, and I'm posting this blog over a month later. But in all fairness, I celebrated his birthday real-time! :)
This kid is kind, sweet, passionate, loving, (temperamental at times), a little brother who adores his big bro, manipulator, etc. So many adjectives to describe him these days. He really is a sweetheart though, and LOVES to cuddle and hold his momma. And I'm okay with that; after all, he is my 'baby'. He looooooooves his big brother fiercely and always wants to do what 'Bubba' does. I don't think he even says 'Austin' anymore, it's always just 'Bubba'. And I love it!
Over the past few months, he has definitely stepped out of his shell. He's not nearly as shy, and has become a little more adventurous. He will actually jump in a bounce house, ride in a go-kart, go down a big slide, etc. I love to watch him grow and become more brave each day. And his teachers have been incredible this year in preschool. He has learned so much and enjoys telling us all about what letter he's learning that week, what sounds it makes, what words start with it, etc. We go around the kitchen table quizzing each other. And his vocabulary! But most of all, I love his sweet voice. It really does melt my heart, along with those mischievous blue eyes.
We celebrated his birthday with a party at an indoor trampoline park, and it was a blast! Especially the dodge ball games. And of course, it was Power Rangers-themed, which is Chase's latest obsession. Growing up too fast!
Anyways, I gotta keep this short. After all, I am wayyyyyy behind on blogging.
